Our Aathma Ayurveda Health Resort is the latest addition to the renowned shores of Ahungalla in South West Sri Lanka. This newly established resort offers an ideal setting for an Ayurvedic retreat, conveniently situated just a 2-minute stroll from the beach. Our 22 rooms are thoughtfully distributed among multiple villas, ensuring ample space for relaxation. Each room boasts a balcony or terrace, providing an excellent vantage point overlooking the pool and the verdant expanse of our gardens. Our rooms come equipped with a range of amenities, including WiFi, a plush king-size bed, en-suite toilet and shower, cozy bathrobes, air conditioning, ceiling fans, a secure safe, telephone, and a hairdryer. Additionally, we offer a family bungalow, located a bit further from the main bungalows, spanning two floors and featuring garden views. Eating in the Ayurvedic Diet Style

Our open-air restaurant offers a delightful setting with panoramic views of our verdant garden and the enchanting wildlife that surrounds us. Here, you can savor a variety of delicious Ayurvedic dishes, thoughtfully selected by our Ayurveda doctor and customized to suit your dosha. All our meals are presented on a carefully curated menu. At Aathma Ayurveda Health Resort, we take pride in assisting our guests with recommendations for appropriate ingredients, spices, and cooking methods, enabling the incorporation of Ayurvedic nutrition into their daily routines.

Our Ayurveda Center

Our Ayurveda center features ten treatment rooms, where you will receive expert care from a certified Ayurvedic doctor and a team of skilled therapists. For a comprehensive initial assessment, we also provide the assistance of a German-speaking translator. Here, you can indulge in a minimum of four Ayurvedic treatments each day. Some of these therapies, such as head and foot massages or the exquisite concluding flower bath, can also be experienced in the serene outdoor surroundings. Additionally, we offer an open-air yoga pavilion, providing a tranquil space for meditation and yoga practice.

Ahungalla - The Location of the Resort

Ahungalla, nestled in the southwestern region of Sri Lanka, is a charming small town renowned for its natural beauty. It stands out as one of the most sought-after and picturesque beach destinations, with its swaying coconut palms and lush greenery. The crystal-clear blue waters and golden sandy shores create an atmosphere of pure relaxation for all visitors. This beach is an idyllic spot for activities such as swimming, turtle watching, sunbathing, and snorkeling. Additionally, a wide range of water sports awaits adventure enthusiasts. Beyond the beach, you can embark on a captivating mangrove safari along the Madu River or explore the Mask Museum in Ambalangoda.
